Terms of Service

Welcome to Kardo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Kardo website, application, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Kardo is a digital calling card platform that lets you create a shareable web page containing your contact details, links, and social profiles, and lets visitors save your contact information. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

2. Your account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Service.
One card is created per account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Post unlawful, misleading, infringing, hateful, or harmful content;
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation;
Distribute malware, spam, or phishing links;
Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.

We may suspend or remove any card or account that violates these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Kardo offers a free plan and paid plans (currently a 3-month plan and a 1-year plan). Prices are shown on our pricing page in Philippine Pesos (₱).
Payments are processed via GCash, either through our payment provider (PayMongo) or by manual transfer. We do not store your GCash credentials or full card details.
Paid plans are for a fixed term and do not auto-renew. Access continues until your plan expiry date, after which your account reverts to the free plan.
Plan activation is immediate for verified online payments, or within 24 hours for manually submitted payments pending verification.
Refunds: payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law. If you were charged in error or believe a payment was not honoured, contact us and we will review it in good faith.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the information, images, and links you add to your card ("Your Content"). You grant Kardo a limited licence to host, display, and share Your Content as needed to operate the Service. You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to use and share it. Note that a published card is publicly accessible to anyone with the link.

6. Intellectual property

The Service itself — including its software, design, and branding — belongs to Kardo and is protected by applicable laws. You may not copy or reuse it except as permitted by these Terms.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we are required to remove by law. On termination, your card and data may be deleted.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kardo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
